Iqaluit – The Better Hearing for Education of Northern Youth (BHENY) is already making a difference!  Three sound field systems have been in installed, complete with teacher and installer training.

The systems were installed in a school in Pond Inlet by team leader Lynne McCurdy and other team members. Lynne has also provided professional development for the full-time audiologist.

Other team members have also started inter-agency meetings and development of education and training materials for teachers.
